I am so sorry for not updating recently, I just looked at my past post date and realized its been forever since I last updated (which is so unlike me!), but I started my job and I have just been crazy busy in the best way possible. things you can expect within the next few days / weeks:
- a blog remodel
- new posts and photography
- possibly a new theme or two since you guys deserve it

okay you guys, its finally here. I have been freaking out about this for months and slowly but surely over the past few days Birchbox has been releasing the details about May’s box. I am so excited because I’ve loved gossip girl forever and it’s a collaboration box (in my personal opinion these are always the best boxes). There are only a few more days to sign up and get the GG box as your first one, and there is usually a waiting list. Recently I’ve been loving metallics for spring, normally with my purses I tend to sway towards light leathers and nudes but these add a pop of glitz and glam to your outfit!
For some time now I’ve been dying to test out some nars products for my own, so yesterday I decided to take the plunge and test out the Nars Illuminator in the shade orgasm. Its a bit expensive but I’ve heard raves and reviews so I figured it was worth it! I do wish now that I had picked a lighter shade, so next time I’ll probably opt for something brighter! Overall I was really plesantly suprised at its blendability, scent, texture, and feel. I dont need to apply very much to get the desired effect and with a small kabookie brush I can blend it into my cheekbones until it looks natural! It smells really great too which is interesting, most highlighters I’ve used smell terrible but this one is quite nice. I LOVE the feeling it leaves on your skin though! I think it may have some mint extract in it, because it has a cooling sensation when you put it on, I think this is going to be my little sidekick during the hot summer months. I think overall it was a good investment, and next time around I think I’ll get it in the CopaCabana shade (a whispy peach creme).
Lets be honest here. I think that by now its its a well known fact that I am addicted to shoes. I given a choice between pretty much anything, and an amazing pair of pumps, I’ll pick the shoes any day. A few months ago I was given a sneak preview of the spring and summer lines by Miista, and I fell in love with their Earla loafer. As a kid I always wanted a horse. Needless to say that never happened, but now I’ve got some pretty ponies on my feet, which is good enough for me! The leather is such amazing quality and they feel like a dream with gorgeous embroidery and piping along the topside. They’re preppy chic and I decided to trot them out to brunch at the lake this morning with mi familia. I have many more outfits planned with these lovelies so stay tuned! :)
